For shipping, there is two options: Open and Enclosed trailer.
Open trailer is the most common and most affordable option. The downside to open transport is that the vehicle can be susceptible to harsh weather conditions such as rain, snow, sun, wind, and hail. Your vehicle will likely get dirty, so do plan on giving it a nice wash upon arrival. Shipping a car to Los Angeles typically runs in the $250-300 range and goes up to $1,300 to the upper East Coast for open transport.
Enclosed transport is the most expensive option, often being the anywhere from 1.5x-2.0x the price of what it would be for open transport. The vehicle will be protected from harsh weather conditions and will have a better ramp set up for low clearance cars. If you are purchasing a vehicle with a low clearance front bumper, we will let you know and suggest going enclosed as the safest option.
